Orienteering race 2:28:37 [5] 8.1 km (18:21 / km) +260m 15:49 / km

Ran-it-Granite A meet Red-X course. Very tough course with well hidden controls in shallow depressions, pits, etc. I was just happy to finish this course. Day started off rainy and then heated up to 70s making it very hot and humid. I was cramping up at the end even though I had drank two cups of water at all three water stops. I'm amazed by the guys who can finish this in expected winning time of 60-65 minutes. I think I'll need to start running my A Class course of Green from now on at least at A-Meets that I attend.

Cardio 1:15:00 [5]

Did a spinning class at gym tonight since it was rainy and cold day. Endurance session. These workouts can be very tough if you want them to be. Also very sweaty. My bike was messed up and kept changing the resistance on its own.

Cycling 1:26:26 [3] 20.76 mi (4:10 / mi)

Bike to and from work today. Another cold morning; even colder than yesterday but I was more prepared today. Great ride home with sun and a tail wind. What's not to like?!

Cycling 1:26:57 [3] 20.76 mi (4:11 / mi)

Back on the bike to cycle to and from work today. Wow! It was cold and windy this morning. I saw forecast was for 50 and sunny today but did not think it would be 28 degrees as I left the house. I was dressed pretty well but the wind was tearing thru me. Also there was a nasty glare from the low sun that had me worried I was going to get run over by every car that came up behind me. I guess they all are making use of their sun visors. Also I'm wearing darker colors which I believe helps to be more visible in that type of condition - better than wearing white. Anyway it was great ride and good workout.

I'm being moved again back to previous office building across town so that will cut about 3 miles off the commute and also allow me to avoid the busy roads. I moved to this building just last April.

Weights 50:00 [3]

Total body weight training.
