(rest day)

Family and I went to the Marine Corp Museum in Quantico today. The museum was awesome. Lots of interactive displays and life size models of marines in action with their equipment and weapons from every era. Highly recommended.

Cardio 30:00 [5]

CyBex bike Rolling Hills program level 10. I usually do level 11 Pikes Peak on this bike but because I have not done cardio for several days I thought I would take it a little easy. This turned out to be very hard workout.

Cardio 20:00 [4]

Did a lower intensity workout on the CyBex elliptical after the bike and 5 minutes of rest.

Weights 45:00 [3]

Another weight training workout - legs and back. I will really need to get some serious cardio in this weekend. It's impossible and dangerous to run outside right now because everything is covered with pure ice. I could probalby ice skate on my front lawn! The snow is frozen as hard as an ice rink.

Upper body weight training.

Cardio 1:45:00 [3]

Cardio and strength workout shoveling snow. Normally I would not count this as training, but this was very tough work shoveling heavy snow and scraping the ice off our driveway. I figure if I'm dripping with sweat then it's got to be a good workout.

Weights 45:00 [3]

Legs and back weight training at the gym. My back is already stiff and sore from all the snow shoveling, but did not want to miss a weight training workout with my son.

Note
(rest day)

Went to New York on business today. Very early train from BWI and got back late so no time to work-out. I probably need to take a day or two off from training. Snow in forecast so not sure how much I will be able to ride my bike to work. Looks like it will be a week of cardio workouts at the gym.
