The run at MPEA yesterday was so nice I went back again today and did a longer run. There are a several connected loops to choose from. I did the two biggest today. Temperature was around 30F and sunny. Trails just have a light covering of snow. Not too many people are making use of trails. Great run.
Quick run at Middle Patuxent Environmental Area. Nice temperature around 30F. Light snowfall on the trails but not slick at all.

Short upper body workout.
Cardio30:00 [4]
CyBex bike. Level 12 Speed and Strength program. This is interval training with 15 seconds on and 45 seconds rest. Not as tough as the Pikes Peak program, but still a very good cardio workout.
CyBex bike level 11 Pikes Peak program. This is becoming my favorite indoor cardio workout this winter. A brutal workout that leaves me just totally exhausted at the end.
Core abdominal and stretching exercises first thing in the AM.

Legs and back weight training. I'm taking a class in Rockville this week so it's been tough to get the cardio workout in of either biking or running. I lift weights with my son every night so can't leave him without his spotter. I should be able to get to gym tomorrow and hit the bike because Wednesday is night off from weights.
