Morning abs and stretch. Did a new abs routine from The Firm on DVD. Not as good as the old VHS tape workout.

Morning bike commute. This was first really frosty day. Temp was 32 F when I went out the door.

Bike home from work. Very sunny and around 60 degrees. Lots of people out enjoying what might me last nice weather for several days. To me, there's never a bad time to ride!

After sleeping extra yesterday morning and skipping the abs and stretching, I got back into it today.

Bike to work. Weather is a breezy and in mid 50s. Supposed to be windy today. I'm feeling pretty good after a couple of easier days to recover from a slight cold.

Bike home from work. Weather turned windy and cold with a few rain drops mixed in. Still not pushing the pace yet, but feeling good.

Bike to work. Another great ride. Temperature about 55 F and mostly cloudy. Not supposed to rain today, but it's kind of gloomy. I'm feeling about 80% recovered from the cold.

Pedal home from work in a very light shower. Wind was kicking up and it seemed like it would start to really rain, but never did. Went up the pipeline thru the woods, but took it easy today since I'm still recovering from a cold.

Weights 50:00 [2]

Weight training at the gym. Have worked up to 8 reps on the 70 lb dumbbell bench press. Once I get to 10 reps I will move up 5 lbs. My 15 old son starting to outlift me on a few exercises like shoulder press. He goes to 105 X 6 and have been stopping at 95 X 6. I do more bench press, though, so I think when we get to shoulder press machine, I'm too tired to keep up!

Morning abs and stretching workout. Not feeling well today at all. Will take the day off from cycling to work and drive the car.

It's Monday and time to get back into the 5-day abs and stretch routine.

Bike to work on this 45 degree morning. There was a bridge out on the trail and the Columbia Association workers were swarming around it and getting it re-built. According to a workman, it went out this weekend during some heavy rains and they should have it re-built today. That's pretty good service. Anyway, I had to re-route thru some trees and mud. I should actually make that a regular part of the ride.

Bike home from work. I was feeling kind of tired so went easy today. The bridge that was washed out in the morning was replaced with a brand new bridge already.

I need to get some running is at least twice a week. Just a short run to help get back into shape for running. I have noticed that running helps me feel better for all the other stuff I do, especially cycling.
