Evening run around the neighborhood. This was a good hilly route. I did not know the distance for this until I got home and mapped it out on-line. Was surprised that my pace was this slow - felt like I was going faster. There were some steep hills that I was crawling up I guess.

QOC Little Bennett Day meeting Green course. I had some good legs and a few bad legs. The weather was great - low 40s and sunny. Nice day to be outside.

It seems that the course was mostly the same as the Saturday night O which explains why I finished down so far with a decent time that averaged ~13 minutes per kilometer.

Tae Bo kickboxing with Luisa at Supreme. Really tough session today but I was feeling good. The squats at the end were tough because I had already done a bunch of squats and lunges during the P90X workout.

Hiking with Luisa and Caesar at MPEA. It was so nice in the woods today! I think the dog was getting tired near the end. So was Luisa after she had done yoga, Tae Bo and Zumba this morning. She is a real weekend warrior.

Very nice run today in Lake Elkhorn area. I felt pretty good considering I have not run for over a week. This was by far the fastest I have run for this distance. It seems I do better after several days of not running. However, my right calf is a bit tight now.

QOC Pohick Bay Red Course. I got off to a great start with first 3 controls then started going to 5 after 3. Had to back track some, then a few minutes error finding 5 because went too low. Then got totally off going to 6. After that not too bad but slow because I got worn out and the 3 bad controls in a row caused me to lose my momentum. It was nice sunny day with temps in high 50s. Great day to be in the woods.

Bikram yoga with Luisa. Got stuck in St Patricks day parade traffic coming thru DC so I went straight to the studio after the O meet. This workout is hardest workout I do. It really is off the chart on intensity. I feel very detoxsified now!

Short tempo run during lunch around the lake. I did not have much time so had to do a shorter run than I had planned. I increased the intensity to get a good workout. This was a pretty good pace for me for outdoors with real hills and wind.

QOC Rosaryville Green course. The rain held off for most of my run. I made minor errors on a some controls but was able to avoid any major loses.

Too bad - the Mountain Bike O got rained out.

Bikram hot yoga with Luisa. This was really hard because the rain made the room very humid and the class was packed with sweating bodies. Very tough workout.

Ran the 5K course plus a little extra today after work. I did not wear a watch so time is an estimate. I felt like I was keeping a good pace. Have not run since the 10K race so I was surprised I was feeling so good on this run.

A glorious Winter day was predicted so I took off the afternoon to go mountain biking. I'm getting ready for QOC's first Mountain Bike O event. Hopefully it will not get rained out this Sunday.
