Beautiful day for a road ride today. Northwest breeze and temps in the low 80s. Lots of cyclist on the road. It seems more people are taking up road riding. Great ride!

Bike to and from work today. I've moved back to the same office building as one year again. It seems like I get moved around a lot. Got caught in a storm and heavy rain on the way home.

Studio cycling on another stormy evening. Lots of sprinting and long, long, long, long climbs in this class. This instructor is insane with her climbs! Then she finishes us off with about 8 minutes of intervals. Whew!

Studio cycling on this cold and rainy day. This felt a little easier than a few weeks ago so I must be getting into better condition. This instructor likes to do a lot of long standing climbs and low RPM and heavy resistance so I am building up my legs in this class. The Thursday night instructor is more into sprinting which is better for cardio. They are both great workouts.

Morning run with Andrew. We're adding five minutes at a time to get back into running condition. I'm actually feeling pretty good and could go faster but sticking with Andrew as we go along.

Nice road ride. I was going to do studio cycling again but the weather cleared up and was nice and sunny, so decided to hit the road.

Easy run tonight to test out the ankle. If felt good and feels OK now. I'll wait until tomorrow to see if it's really OK now.

Another studio cycling class. It's still raining here so have to ride indoors. Very tough 60 minute workout again. If this does not whip me into shape nothing will!

Morning abdominal workout followed by push-ups and stretching.

Swimming 23:20 [3] 1.0 km (23:20 / km)

Decided to try some swimming again because ankle still not well enough for running. Maybe the kicking motion with no impact will help the ankle heal more quickly. I did 40 lengths at the Supreme Sports pool. I have not done swimming for some time so this was good workout for me.

Weather has been horrible this week and I needed a good cardio workout so did a studio cycling class. These are always very tough if you want them to be. I was in the zone and working very hard for this. The key is to not rock back and forth during the standing parts. Use your legs for sole support and hands on the bars just for balance. It's brutally tough on your legs.
