Cycling 1:37:00 [3] 28.0 mi (3:28 / mi)

Great day for an evening ride even though there was a very stiff breeze from the south east.

P90X 14:00 [4]

After getting back from the ride I joined Luisa for the Ab Ripper-X that she had just started.

Orienteering race 1:04:00 [5] 10.0 km (6:24 / km)

Ran in the Bushwhacker "Pick You Own Route" Adventure Running Race at Fountainhead Park in Virginia. I teamed up with another QOC member and ran the first leg of the out and back course. I stayed on trails probably 60% of time with some nice shortcuts thru the woods. Still my time not too good due to being a little out of shape for running and the steep terrain.

P90X 16:15 [4]

P90X Ab Ripper-X workout to warm up for a run.

Running 57:50 [5] 10.0 km (5:47 / km)

Hill running workout today. There are a group of hills in the neighborhood that provide a great place for a power workout.

Start by running 1.5 miles to bottom of first hill

Hill 1 - .12 miles very, very steep, then short loop to catch breath and back down the hill
Hill 2 - .25 miles moderately steep then continue on and down the other side to bottom and turn around and back up..
Hill 3 - .35 miles starts easy, then medium then moderately steep at top, down the other side which was Hill 2
Hill 4 - .50 miles short very steep start then gradual climb to the top. Loop back to the start of Hill 1

Repeat Hills 1 thru 4 and back towards home until reaching 10k, then cool down.

If this does not whip me into shape nothing will!

Running 25:00 [5] 2.2 mi (11:22 / mi)

Interval training. I discovered that my watch's count-down time is broken which is what I had been using to run 30 then walk 60. So, instead I just ran from light pole to light pole switching between sprinting and jogging.

Yoga 1:22:00 [3]

After the interval training I joined Luisa for P90X yoga. This is a pretty tough yoga workout

P90X 38:00 [4]

I'm going to get back to keeping track of training. I stopped suddently last October after getting a new job which kept me super busy.

Half of P90X Chest and Back workout then half the Ab Ripper-X. I wanted to do the entire workout but needed to get to College Park by 9am to help Andrew move out of his apartment for the summer.
2 PM

Running 26:30 [4] 5.0 km (5:18 / km)

Did the High Hay 5k. This was a really slow time for me. Obviously I have not been doing enough running lately.
