Not an official injury but my left arm was bothering me again so took two days of total rest. It's feeling about 95% now. It does not hurt but range of motion is limited a little.
After 10 straight days of training I needed a rest day. Yesterday's treadmill run plus the virtual bike seemed to really wear me out. This is likely because I did not re-fuel right away. I did not eat until around 2 hours after the workout. Big mistake!
Treadmill run. Tried a new program today and a higher level. Much harder. Rolling Hills 3 Level 5. Switched between 6 and 6.8MPH depending on the incline.

P90X Core Synergistics. I was able to do this very tough workout 5 days in a row.
P90X Core Synergistics. That's 4 days in row and I'm feeling good. I missed my run again today because too busy at work to get to the gym. I have to get there tomorrow.
Treadmill run. Rolling Hills 2, level 4, 6.8 MPH. I had to take it down to 6.5 MPH for the last hill. Then back up to 7MPH for the finish.

Second day in a row of P90X Core Synergistics. This is very diverse and strenuous workout. Tony Horton would probably say don't try to do this everyday but I'm going to try to do 5 days in a row and see how my body reacts.
I'm trying something crazy this week - Core Synergistics every night. I want to see what this does to me. Luisa joined me tonight. This was first time she has ever done this workout and I think she will be feeling it tomorrow.
Finally after three days of mostly shoveling snow and being stuck in the house I was able to get back out to the gym. Treadmill run. Level 10 Cardio program. I had to take it down to level 9 for the final hill.
Treadmill run. Used a different treadmill today that has different programs. This was "cardio" program which is intervals of 4 minute incline 6 then 4 minutes incline 2. Speed was 6 MPH for the hill and 6.2 for the flat. I increased the speed to 6.5/7 for the last interval.
P90X+ Total Body. Very tough workout to keep up with. It's just pull-ups, squats, push-ups, lunges, shoulders, arms one right after the other. There is only one 30 second break.

Nice easy ride to mall in a light snow. We're going to get hit with another snow storm today.
Treadmill run. Today's workout is 1:10:00 run with 5 minutes walk warm-up and cool-down. Program was Rolling Hills 2, level 3, speed 6.5 MPH for the entire run.
Treadmill run for Tuesday week 3 of program. 5 minute walk warm-up. 40 minutes at 6.7MPH Rolling Hills 2 Level 3. 5 min walk cool-down. Then 6 10 second sprints at 10.7MPH with 40 seconds jog recovery between each.
Treadmill run during lunch. I'm trying a new running program in attempt to improve my orienteering times. I know I need more work on navigation but if I can run fast it will help make up for some navigation mistakes. Hopefully I will be able to stick with this program as much as possible and work it in between P90X and biking to work. The program is the 5K level 2 program from Bobby McGee's aptly named book "Run Workouts". I'm starting on week 3 of 14. The first two weeks would be too easy. Actually today's 45 minute aerobic threshold run plus 5 minute warm-up/cool-down has left me feeling pretty drained. Need food now!

P90X Chest and Back workout. After my long run today I did not have enough energy to do high repetitions this evening. Still a very good workout.
