1 hour moderate 8 miles from work (so it’s the gentle down for 3 miles, flat for 2 and slightly up for 3 route) Felt better again. Didn’t run at normal “moderate” effort as had a bit of a snotty nose but energy felt fine.

Not feeling bouncy but a lot better than the end of last week and strideouts felt good.

1 hour really easy ride from home. 20km. Felt good, much better than end of last week. Felt good to spin the legs in the warm evening sun after being stuck inside most of the day!

Got in late (11pm) so sleep limited as still woke up naturally at 6am.
Felt a lot better this morning, less tired.
20 mins easy along the river in Horton, 35min tempo (but more like 22 mins of tempo) up Penyghent and 35 mins back down.
Felt much more energetic on the 20 mins easy than last couple of days. Found a good rhythm on the way up. Up to gate (before you head up steeper bit) I was 3-4 mins faster than normal (long run) pace, after about 22 mins of tempo pace my legs lost all energy and was hard to make them keep up with my lungs but kept going, got a second wind for the last 5 mins to the top.
Jogging back down in the sunshine felt really good and lifted my mood!
I think the tired and irritated feelings are just pre period reasons.
Fingers crossed it starts tomorrow as during/just after period is when I usually feel the best.
