Caught the train to Castlemaine with a group of my step into life training buddies and we took off for a trail run along the Goldfields Track towards Harcourt. The plan was to continue to Specimen Gully Rd, then run back to Castlemaine along that road and Blakeleys Road back into town. Well we lost track of the track in the pine plantation and realised when we'd got too far to get back onto it. Navigated our way onto Colles Rd, Happy Valley Rd and back from there. Cleaned up a bit at the railway station then had lunch at Saffs cafe. Caught the train home again. Planning on doing nothing this arvo.

Heavy weights (starting with 5kg x 2) and a few body weight exercises. Tough start to the month.

Time trial with the group; about 3.3 times around lake Weeroona on a very warm (27 degrees c) evening. Tried to maintain a steady pace. This doesn't include time warming up, stretching or getting to and from the lake.
