Set off for a jog with Evan, only I had to slow down; his jog is almost my sprint! After he left, I tried to keep up the pace, so this turned into a tempo session. Just went up and down the creek path.

Saturday May 6, 2017 #

Note

Helped Neil with the orienteering event at Kooyoora. We were away from home for 8 hours. I think I did the equivalent of short courses in the end; walked around course 5 with Judy to check the tapes, ran around the same course later shadowing a young boy in case he went off course and then did one of the control retrieval loops afterwards. Probably covered about 6 km all up. It was a good event with over 50 ppl attending and participating.

Cardio session tonight after work. It was the first cold session, where we had to keep moving to keep warm. Strength and endurance included paired resistance running, pushouts alternating with squats, bridges and crunches.

Walked around the orienteering terrain putting out controls for next Saturday's orienteering event, with Neil and Judy. It was lovely out there.
