Victorian Relays in Melbourne, at Darebin Parklands. This is a small area of park each side of a few bends in the Darebin Creek. Grassy open areas, tree plantings, path, steep slopes each side of the creek in places. I was 2nd leg runner between the youthful Clare Brownridge & Ilka Barr and the slowest by 13 mins. It was very hot running around in the sun and humidity after the showery start to the event in Melbourne.

Orienteering on a new middle distance map with lots of mining and vegetation detail. It was a hot sunny afternoon, too hot to run hard. Good course. I messed up my navigation on at least 2 legs, but enjoyed being out in the bush again. The training task was to do your course twice. I didn't. Too tired after the first time.

Early morning tone up session at the start of my full time month at work. Hard session - the last resistence bands session for 2 months.
