shoes: Black innovates

Victorian Long Championships event near Ballarat. The weather was wet, the forest was soaked and there were 4 creek crossings in knee deep fast flowing water. The courses were great - lots of variety in the legs (lengths, directions and terrain experience. It was 2.5km between parking area and the arena due to the wet state of the road, so I ended up walking as far as I'd run on the course.

Parkrun at the Res this morning. Started with Nigel and we chatted about club matters. I pushed on a bit after he blew up. Not my best run but glad I went. Judy and Louise were both there too. Beautiful morning for it!

The run component was a warm up jog. Lovely testing stretches in the warm sunshine!

Tone up at the lake with fit balls and weights. I found 5kg too much for my right shoulder today.
