Second time I've done this hilly trail run in the Victorian Pyranees range. This is a well organised and friendly event. My training has not been ideal, and I was a little surprised to achieve podium place (2nd in my age class). My goal was to just finish. The woman who was 1st passed me about 1 km from the finish. I was very glad to finish. There was a fair amount of pain today, and I'm very tired tonight. Glad I finished and am not injured. Will I do it again? Don't know. It's a very hard run.

Tonight we were doing lots of short interval sessions, lots of changing direction work and playing with balls to recover in between.

Resistance bands. I was very tired and the session felt pretty hard tonight.
