Orienteering at Mt Baw Baw; A lovely day and a beautiful area to run around in. Pretty steep though. I made the typical errors: first I had forgotten to complete our entries, so we had to enter on the day. Then I went to control 5 before 3 and then 7 before 6. We had to leave straight after we finished; we were going to stay at the Cape Shanck lighthouse. It was a big drive to get there too.

Attempted to ride to work this morning. Got up early, left home at 6:15 for Kangaroo Flat to meet a colleague. Realised after 2 km that I had forgotten my helmet, so turned around and rode home. Should have stayed there! Well, I grabbed the helmet, put the bike in the car and drove to Lansell Plaza to meet Brian. Arrived a bit late and we headed off...
Riding up Big Hill I realised that I couldn't get the chain onto the small chain ring; the deraillier must be malfunctioning, so I rode with only higher gears.
After Fogartys Gap Rd, after the first hill, the rear tyre went flat (again! this was the 3rd time in 5 rides). I stopped to fix it and found that my pump was broken, so I had to walk the bike to the Harcourt roundabout where Brian had left his pump for me.
Replaced the tyre and wheel and Brian rang to say he was bringing the work ute to pick me and the bike up (thanks Brian!)
He then sent around an email suggesting my name has changed to Julie Flat.
