Spent time out on the One Tree Hill map in preparation for the event on August 24. Steep terrain; think I have worked out the easy & moderate courses.

Orienteering at Mosquito Creek; this map is well known for its vague contours and parallel error traps. I fell right into today's trap, took 43 mins to get from 1 st to 2 nd control. I wasn't the only one who did this; about 4 or 5 of us got caught up. Once I finally worked where I was and found the control, I completed the remainder of the course quite respectably for me.

A lovely stretching session with powerflex followed by soup & bread from Andy ( who runs the Boardwalk cafe). Went for coffee to that cafe afterwards. Good company & great (although chilly) start to the day.

A tough tone up session, lifting the weights to 5kg. It was spitting for the duration. Walked there from work & lucky for me, Neil picked me up afterwards.

What to do when I've worked an extra hour today but the boss won't let me accumulate an hour of flexitime in one day? So I went home early and got a run in. Much more fun than working.
