Orienteering at Warrandyte common. This is a very small area of bushland, and full use was made of it for this event. Parts were very steep and thickly vegetated, and the course setter tricked me on a couple of occasions when I went to the wrong one of 2 closely located but consecutive controls. One of the problems with using small fenced areas of bushland is that the resident kangaroos and wallabies get upset and try to jump fences they are not used to jumping in their efforts to get away from the hoards that invade their block, and are at risk of becoming disoriented and injured.
