long slow run 1:40:00 [3] 14.14 km (7:04 / km)
shoes: Brookes Adrenalin 2

Long run from No. 7 reservoir - I did the loop out along the channel and up to the trig point. It is such a lovely place, but I did note that there has been some subdivision of land below the trig point, with roads, power lines and the start of housing construction already. Hope it doesn't climb the hill. I am not used to this distance. I had to walk up many of the hills.

orienteering 1:22:49 [3] *** 6.4 km (12:56 / km)
shoes: Innovate roclite318

Orienteering at Sedgwick. I chose the longest course, wanting a decent length. The course was as always here, steep in many places, and I found it difficult to continue running up all the hills. For the first time in 8 months I had my garmin back agaon, and forgot to turn it on at the start. This was disappointing because I want to be able to upload a gps read onto a map. Maybe next time.

Guessed distance again. Ordered a new strap for the Gamin GPS that Evan has returned to me, so when I get it, I can record my real distances.
