Victorian club relays today. A really well organised event, but the course I did today was a bit long and difficult for a normal relay. Great map - Neerina, with lots of mining detail, and the course setter made the most of this. I would have done much better if I'd continued to use mainly tracks to get between all controls. I took 18mins on 4th leg, the problem was crossing a blackberry infested deep gully. Should have avoided this and taken the longer track option. The next mistake was at #16, when I was tired and had difficulty reading the detail.

Early morning run in the fog. It is unusual to meet many other runners out at this time, but I saw 8 other people running along Barnard St this morning, and 6 of them were women.
