orienteering 1:12:00 [3] *** 10.8 km (6:40 / km)

Combined club training event at Smith's Reef. two separate runs. Sprint format in the morning and several loops in the afternoon. My navigation was poor, but had fun running, and the terrain was softer underfoot than on the dry tracks around home. Had difficulty in the same part of the map as two other family members, and we reckon there is a misalignment along a track.

Just another local run. My achillies tendon was playing up after about 15 mins of running. ave to go see the physio.

This run didn't fell like training this morning - it was a bit short. Getting pain in my left achilles ( 2nd time this week). I'm a bit worried with just over 2 weeks till the marathon...there are lots of thoughts about what I've been doing wrong during my training. Trying some eccentric stretching.

Interval session this morning. 4 X 6min harder surges with 1min recovery between. 17min warm up/down. 6am is a great time to be running - it's light!
