Easter Day 1 at Lovely Banks. I was running down in the w55 age class. The course wasn't technically hard, but it was physically tough. I made only one error, but lost 4-5 mins on the 8th control. Enjoyed this event.

Run session, time includes warm up and cool down and stretching. W ran out along the OKeefe trail to Mayfair Park and back. I started out too hard and talking and ended up walking a bit and jogging a bit.

Gayle led this fitness evaluation session, and it was hard to get some of the group moving. I managed the 2km in 9:46, not a bad time, and used 5kg hand weights. Not good on the push ups today, managed only 18 in a minute.

We went running from the motel down the road we used to live in and along Mullum Mullum creek. I was pleased to see that there's now a Parkrun there, starting at the end of Warnes Rd. There were a few large hills, so it wasn't a doddle... the old house has changes a lot; trees removed, big she'd built in the back yard, windows changed....

Ran with Neil around the track via the Schweppes Centre, Long Gully, Peppercorn Farm, Lake Weeroona back home. Hard to crank up for this, haven't done many long slow Sunday runs this summer, so my fitness and endurance is not as good as previous years.

Ran around the trees in the grounds of the old asylum in Beechworth. Staying overnight on a fact finding work trip. The grounds are amazing, with huge trees planted all around the grounds. Did a few hill reps and push ups to spice it up.

Core ball session with light weights. It was windy so we couldn't leave the balls unattended, they were blowing away and across the road. Today we focussed on abdominal strength exercises.

Heathcote Hageby event this morning, in a newly mapped area near Heathcote.
I had a pretty scrappy run today. I got confused in several areas, and missed a control, only finding this out after I finished.
Enjoyable and challenging, however.

Parkrun this morning. I planned to do just a quiet run, but ended up doing a sprint finish with Maree when she challenged me near the finish. Good fun!

Spent half an hour doing strength exercises after missing Step into Life because I left work too late to get there on time.
