Step into Life group 1:00:00 [3] 5.69 km (10:33 / km)
shoes: Blue asics

Very sore knees tonight, so I had a soft jog with Louise (she's also injured) while others ran a time trial.

Bushwalk 4:00:00 [2] 8.5 km (28:14 / km)
shoes: Salomons

Hiked up via the climbers route, to the Mt Rosea ridge and along, then back along the walking track. Sore knees made the downhill part very difficult.

running event (Wonderland Trail run) 2:59:41 [5] 20.0 km (8:59 / km)
shoes: Salomons

20km trail run in the Grampians, started at 7am and got in just before the clock ticked over to 3 hours. Phew! Big run! Beautiful views along the way. The going was slow for the first 6 km, with people walking up the single track uphill and few opportunities to pass. From the top there were more opportunities to run, especially downhill. It's a long time since I've 'run' for 3 hours. It was lovely to share it with friends and family members: Ilka, Wolf, Nigel, Amy..

orienteering 1:18:30 [3] 7.8 km (10:04 / km)
shoes: Innov8 bright

Lovely day for a fun event at Eppalock. Did course 1, and obviously detoured a fair bit even though I aimed to run straight on a number of long legs. Very enjoyable event, with the golden wattle prolific. After Neil looked at my gps trace, it was obvious that my gps didn't find a satellite immediately and I only messed up one control.

Early morning run because I woke up at 5:45 before the alarm went off... might as well run, since I'm awake...

run (Parkrun) 25:10 [5] 5.0 km (5:02 / km)
shoes: Blue asics

Parkrun this morning, first time for ages. As it happened, there were only 66 participants and I was the first female across the line (in 15th place). It won't ever happen again, so I'm enjoying the feeling. My time wasn't a pb, but I couldn't have run any harder. Went out for breakfast afterwards with Judy who had volunteered at Parkrun.

orienteering (Night event) 1:09:48 [3] 5.49 km (12:43 / km)
shoes: Black innovates

Great night event at Brown Reef. It's fun to run and navigate in the dark. Of course I was very slow, got lost a couple of times. Walked towards the end and got stuck in the thick coffee bush looking for a depression. Only found it what Neil pointed it out with his torch.
