Step into Life group (Fitness evaluation) 1:00:00 [3]

Expected a weights tone up session tonight, but we had our fitness evaluation instead. This included a 2km run in 9:30.

Quick run up and down the creek in the morning before the orienteering event we are organizing today. I've been away all week in Canberra, so much of the organizing has fallen on Neil's capable shoulders, and I'm very grateful. It's also very cold at home. The heater broke a week ago and winter has started this week. Neil's been home on his own in the cold... We are hoping the new part to fix the heater might come next Tuesday....

Went for a run around lake gininderra from my parents home in Page. It was getting dark and the run was longer than I'd expected. All good though. I just needed to run after several days of not running...

Spent some time doing practice runs on some of the courses I'm setting for Saturday week. Did 3 courses and lots of contours! Used it for hill training and ran up all the hills I could.

Cardio tonight was interval training. I was fatigued after orienteering at Mt Tarrengower today, but felt better at the end of the session than at the start.

Back at Browns Reef orienteering at Andrews Dam. Great courses set by Leisha and Karina. I didn't go hard today, especially since I copped out of doing the great ocean road half marathon. Walked a little too. Beautiful day to be orienteering. I was sad for the bush - it's been so dry, and the last planned burn has reduced the understory so much, with loss of growth and biodiversity.

Orienteering at Chewton Diggings in the pine forest area. Some nice long legs with good route choice, a lot of tracks to choose and plenty of contours. Back felt a lot better than it has during the week. Powerflex this morning helped a lot.
