Cardio session included a 5km time trial around the lake that took 25:17. I wasn't trying to go fast, but focus on technique to try to control knee pain. This was a really hard run tonight!

Long-ish slow run this morning with Louise & Jenny. I logged nearly 20mins on my way to meet them, then we ran part of the Bendigo fun run route for next weekend. I left them before they had finished their session and ran home. Had to get back in time for a not meeting.

Ran to Powerflex and then the first part of Powerflex was running.

Ran about half of course 2 with Judy, then we walked the remainder of the course. Split up at the 10th control. It was very warm today for orienteering on Diamond Hill, so all the prickles were fully experienced on sweaty skin.

On our way home from Melbourne for the weekend, we stopped at Mt Macedon and went for a run. Neil's foot was very sore, so we ran very slow out to the memorial from the Camels Hump car park. Neil had to give up when running back, so I continued to the car and drove back to pick him up.

Finally, about 34 years after my first climbing trip to Mt Arapiles with Neil, we did Tiptoe Ridge, a long easy classic climb, with lovely jugs all the way up.

5kg weights, and lots of upper limb, abdominal and leg strengthening work.

Powerflex session. Jogged about 2 km then did some mighty good stretches.

Six hour rogaine with Louise. It was quite a warm day for it and the snakes were out and about. Louise saw one that I had walked past. Great lot of flowers colouring the forest. We only jogged in the last 2 km when we were rushing to get back in time. Got in with seconds to spare. A good day.

Run the Maine fun run today; I wasn't aiming for a pb; just to do it at a manageable pace. Stayed at a pace which felt just pushing without blowing up. Happy with this. I have no idea how it compares with my time last year.
