Set off for a long training run this morning. The running lasted 11 mins, after which I just walked. I just didn't want to push myself this morning (left hamstring insertion feeling weird) . The walk was pleasant, the bush was still wet after yesterday's rain.

Ran from home to Lockwood Rd and back. This is the family standard long run. Today there was a beautiful cool breeze which made the run pleasant. I also felt better in the second half, with a faster split for the run home. Started out with the Pensioner, but the poor guy slowed to a walk with a sore ankle - just got the knee working and something else happens!

Very warm this morning - needed the water I took. Ran through Brown's Reef for 46mins then U turned within half a km of the Lockwood Rd.This is the longest run I've done since November. Next time I'll go all the way to Lockwood Rd.

The distance is a guess - I'd not run this route previously. Started running before 8.30am, and the temp rose dramatically while I was running.
