ahr:156 max:170 shoes: Integrators

Second day in laramie.

I wish I could remember more details about the race...

Well, i know it was a super fast course cause I could see the gals passing me and I couldn't really do anything about it.

Laramie -

Thought I'd add a bit of detail before I come back in a week, when this will be most likely long forgotten...

HR skyrocketed, as expected. over 90 sitting down...

The course was just fine. Not too complicated, also as expected out west. Didn't get hopelessly lost but I did need to relocate a couple times. I really could have pushed it a bit harder. Maybe tomorrow...

Great views of these rock formations. Loved that. Wished I had camera with me. Flowers not too many. Oh, that humoungous rocky depression was totally cool!

Just had a bunch of pasta... and no partying :) He-he-he! I better run OK tomorrow...

Running (trail paved) 29:31 [3] 3.14 mi (9:24 / mi) +150m 8:11 / mi
ahr:163 max:204 slept:5.0 shoes: BROOKS Radius

Up north, solo

The plan was intially to go for an hour but :)...:) it went slowly and surely down to 30 min...which is still better than nothing :)

I'm quite surprised at my max HR, however it's not a spike on the graph but it increases quickly but steadily. So, within 3 min of starting I reach 204...hmmm. Then 3 min later it goes down to 160 and stays in that neighborhood. I didn;t even know I can reach 204. I only seen something similar when i ran in new berlin a while ago. Well, one thing in common is that I started kinda fast comparing with my turtle style of starting the runs. i was thinking if I'm doing only 30 min I better get my money's worth.

Shin pain is back... grrr...maybe that pavement is really not that great for me. Did a couple stretches but best thing was a massage after and she really strecthed my legs. Never had that done before. Awesome.

Ok. Packing time! (right.....)

Biking (MTB) 1:10:00 [3] 10.0 mi (7:00 / mi)
shoes: Nort face

John Muir - SKM

Great workout! Ok, I thought my quads will just simply start on fire. The rest of the gang (matt, greg and scott) kept kicking my butt, but I had fun anyway. I was not once afarid, as i was worried that my confidence would lack a bit after the great fall a couple months ago.. i loved the tight turns, and as long as I was not super tired, I did pretty good = had super fun with that! Dizziness came around only once, at the worst point though (steep and narrow), but went away quick.

Prime time mosquitos so i could not stop once to rest... not sure if that was for the better...

Can't wait to do it again! Soon...

slept:8.0 (rest day)

Overachieving Monday turned into underachieving...

My boss awesomely called me into a meeting at lunch, so there went my body pump class.

Then I was still kinda hoping for a run in the evening, but it was so humid and my head was so dizzy...that I said, tomorrow will be a perfect day for running, today is a perfect day just to enjoy the beauty of it... and that's exatly what I'm doing:)
