Road Runners @ Pommy, handicap race. Usually I hate the handicap race but this month I did a lot better.... ran by myself for the first 5km and then started catching some people, main aim was not to let any of the girls catch me, suceeded :) shoe lace came undone again in the last 200m so had to be careful not to trip!! 45secs faster that previous weeks

Run with Dad from roadies back to their place (he manned the drinks stop so didn't run), in the rain :) nice easy run with lots of chatting, stomach was playing up again thou. Arrived home to the lovely (not) smell of fresh paint... will be smelling it for a while I'm sure, but looks good

Went over Willans and Red Hill, then down around the Lake and back home over Willans, felt reasonable but we both struggled going up the last hill. Even thou we were only doing 3 x 1km I wasn't looking forward to it, hammy really tight and legs just felt dead after the weekend. Times surprised both me and Belinda, 4.07, 4.06, 4.08. Maybe it was seeing the giant glass of Carlton Draught floating over town that gave us the motivation??
