Event: BATONA 500

Orienteering race 3:22:00 [3] 7.45 km (27:07 / km)
shoes: Adidas NOVA TR 2005

Well... um. About that race.

I'd like to list the following excuses:
1. I did my first race ever on a BLUE course. Who's idea of a joke was that --- cause it was pretty funny.
2. First time I used a map/compass (though that wasn't really too bad)
3. If you've checked my training you'll see that i've got none lately. My fault... i spent too much time partying. Bad me -- and i was punished severely for it.
4. I injured myself about half way through, pulled a muscle) hopefully i'll be able to run tomorrow. (R-hip flexor -- sartorius?)
5. About 10 min before my start nature called collect. I refused the call and then she had the operator do an emergency break through somewhere near control 12. I prayed that no one would stumble upon me.
Not only bears %@^$ in the woods.
6. I was dehydrated, ended up doing a lot of walking:|

Now, with all that out there, you've got to admit that i ran a damn good race! I'll be doing another in a months time, expect a time drop of at least an hour, if not more.

I'll add more detail later
