Phys testing - felt quite uncomfortable on the treadmill this time but got used to it after a bit. Results say that I'm basically 1kph better than last year with respect to blood lactate and lower HR by about 7bpm. Must remember to add more detail when the results come through.

Was going to do intervals but my shins were hurting so ended up doing a good core and legs sesh. 45s of an exercise, 30s rest, for ages. Including calves, core, glutes, quads

King Henry VIII Relays, Coventry. Once again a really fun race and great standard of racing with 60 teams from as far as Truro, Suffolk, Kent and Cumbria. Had a really good run on last leg, 24s faster than last year and going from 15th to 8th. Feeling 10x better than Sunday. Some sloppy conditions in the woods but generally a fast road course.
Pretty cool historic race - I was 38s behind Seb Coe from 1975 and 45s behind the Brownlee’s.
