Orienteering race (Terrain) 52:52 [3] 10.46 km (5:03 / km) +165m 4:41 / km
shoes: New Irocks

It was kinda cold warming up so played big with Tommy. Got in the zone and talked to myself - found it does help. Good run and ran pretty schnell for most of the way with only one proper muck-up on #2 but only lost 40secs or so. Looked at the map - definitely helps you to not make mistakes. Found the the finish before the last control which was a wee bit frustrating but hey/ho. Gash quite painful and can't lift my leg up properly.

It felt proper hard but was good fun. Felt OK up the hills - lots of little steps and gained distance but smashed all the older lads on the down hills as they were a wee bit careful. All very happy with 5th overall as we are the club punters;)

Sonic 1 in Uckfield. 1 hour score with no weird rules. would have cleared up but got buggered by a closed gate which made me have to run an extra +1km and then I couldn't find the control - apparently I was like a meter from it:( Really good fun area with a load of Twitterns and dead ends. Gash sore but not a hinderance.

I think I started a wee bit fast so dropped off a bit on the rest of the session and it was hard to stop my shoulders from coming up. Happy with start speed though:)

Felt pretty good. Weird running in the dark now the clocks have gone back - v.cold. Gash\bruise on thigh not to noticeable whilst running but ouchy to touch.
