Quick 5k round the meadows- legs felt pretty energetic and good but thought I’d just have a small day considering how they felt yesterday up hill of fare. Bit of a recovery day.
Came up to Edinburgh yesterday to keep Frank the Hamster and Finn company. Let’s hope a couple weeks on a fair bit of tarmac doesn’t do too much damage. Achilles felt a bit tight but no pain on this run through the knees or ankles :))
Walked up the seat last night for the summer solstice sunset, had my normal Hoka trainers on but got a pain in my left foot arch, used to get it a lot when I was younger when we went on long walks, thinking about getting insoles for my trainers, might help my knees a bit too as my feet have always naturally rolled in.

Up to Banff for the day to help granda in his allotment. Nice quick run along the beach links to white hills and back. I miss surfing and a real summer :((

Balmedie beach run with Eilidh. Hate running on sand, such a struggle. Ran on a bit of trumps golf course which was pretty fun, nice trails of short grass carved through the dunes.
Post run bbq and swim with Katie.

Shooting greens loop with Bob and Eils.
Legs felt pretty good actually, Hammy’s are tight but apart from that knees felt fine, no pain on downhills. Rolled them out a bit before and after so should be all fine.
