Except one control (5) where I lost like 4 min, maybe I can add another 2-3 min of combinations. Bearing was off in couple of places. Kind of positive feelings after this race. Course length was 7.4k. Super fast times posted by superelites

Speeding towards start. I knew I will miss it. And I did . By 4.5 min. That kind of set up the tone for the day

Good long orienteering session. Various speeds . Various kind of mistakes. Some normal, some silly, some unnecessary . Really. Knee start hurting around 1h mark . Me not happy. Oh well - what' s new ?

Used the day asa training, instead of racing. Lost my Garmin after 4. , walked around searching, no luck, jog some more . for the 2 races today. made it to the first one with 15 sec to spare after an overnight flight and almost 3h drive. one coffee. both terrain are SUPER. now i remember why i love orienteering in many places. portugal is making the the higher up on the list. second time in Portugal after wmoc 2008. one day gone - and i just the orienteering today. makes you forget about being super tired.sleep combined 2h during the flight plus .5 before afternoon sprint

Beautiful sunny day . Crisp .lucky me with the team of volunteers I had I was able to not go out picking controls today. Just setting. I am super tired, and monday is a WRE if I get on time for starting ( is across the pond ). Relaxing time now in the airport and an overnight flight. And I am not busy, but on vacation. Yay
