Note
My left shin has got hurt every time I run frequently, like 5 times a week, since 5 or 6 years ago. I knew something about my running posture was wrong, but didn't deal with it before today because I didn't know what I could do. To know what is wrong about myself, I went to the place called FORM, form optimiser of running methodology, which is located in Tokyo and run by Mizuno. I went there from my uni right after my class finished since my uni is in Tokyo and close to the place. I put some sensors on me and ran a few minutes on a treadmill. According to the diagnosis, my torso and the way I put my feet on the ground, which is called "ride" in the diagnosis, are fine, but the way I swing my arms is not ideal. The staff, who looked like a really fast runner, said I should I swing my arms more backward rather than forward. Also, my right toe is facing slightly outward which causes my asymmetry running posture. I was also recommend to care my legs more after running to prevent shin sprint on my left shin. At the end, I was told which shoes I should wear. I was planning to buy new ones soon anyway, so I bought them. On the whole, even though I paid 3000 yen, I am happy with today's experience.
From tomorrow, I think I will try to adjust my running posture and take care of my legs more seriously after running.
