Couple of Taylors. Annoyed that my planned ride got thwarted by a thunderstorm, so went running in the rain instead. Up the concrete path then down the zig-zags, around, up the NW rocky path then down the zig-zags again.
We went down to London Bridge on the other side of Googong for the morning. The others set off on the short walk from the car and I ran past the natural rock bridge and out along a firetrail to Washpen Crossing. Strangely, there didn't seem to be a crossing there. I came back, and stopped my watch a tad early because I saw a wombat up ahead on the track. It trotted along the road then veered off into the grass and disappeared into its hole. It was 10.30am after all - it must have been quite hot!
We were at the Botanic Gardens in the morning. Near the end of our walk, I set off to run up Black Mt including running the circuit track halfway up, getting picked up at the top. It was a lovely run!
Matt ran to Pine Island North and we met him there. Then they all went swimming while I ran north along the river for 13 minutes then turned around and came back.
