Hockey (game) 1:10:00 [3]

Last rostered game. We somehow ended up in a "must win" situation to move back into the top 4 teams to play out the finals. Luckily we managed that, winning 2-0 against United. So we live to fight another match next week.

Running race 20:32 [5] 5.0 km (4:06 / km)
(sick)

Burley Griffin Parkrun.
Had a plethora of reasons as to why this run would be slower than last time by a bit, and so it was not a surprise that I ran 20.32. It still felt hard as. The worst thing was the cold, it was less than 1 degree and just too cold for me!
12 PM

Orienteering race 34:19 [4] *** 5.5 km (6:14 / km)
(sick)

Mt Taylor event. By the time I ran it was sunny and getting quite warm, hooray! Fairly clean run (it is my backyard after all!) with just a few wobbles, and accidentally navigated to c13 on the way to c10. Beat Matt by 2secs on one control and 7secs on the run-in again... what a slow-poke! ;)

Running intervals 33:00 [4]
(sick)

DFAT hills. Took it easy, no more than about 75% on the ints.

Note

Was going to do an evening run but then my sister reminded me that I'd got us tickets to see The Italian Tenors so went to see them instead. They were so good! Made me think about living in Italy... posting to Rome??

Running long 2:20:00 [3] 21.1 km (6:38 / km)
(sick)

Red Hill - Isaacs Ridge - Wanniassa Hills - Farrer Ridge.

How to prolong a cold:
Step 1. Go for a very long run in the rain in <10 degree temps. Don't take food or water. Waterpoofs? No, don't worry about that.
Step 2. Go to hockey training in the rain.
