Running (Namadgi NP) 2:25:00 [3]

Long run with Matt, Lizzie and Chris from Orroral Tracking Station carpark. We ran along the Cotter Hut Rd, then an out-and-back up to Cotter Gap, along the Cotter Hut fire trail some more, then onto Smokers Trail and back through the grassy Orroral Valley. Lovely run and great day for it. Pretty tired by the end though!

Running (streets) 1:00:00 [3]

NSW SLs 1&2 sadly cancelled due to the bad weather on Thursday. Went for an afternoon run through Forrest, Deakin, Forrest, Barton, Kingston. Some very light drizzle. Forrest is such a nice suburb!

Running intervals (cycle-path) 25:00 [5]

5 x 5mins (90secs rec) around the east basin, with a cool-down through Barton. I was aiming for 'tempo', but ended up running them as if they were 3 or 4 minute intervals, so quite a good pace... averages ranging between 4.05 - 4.11 min/km. Quads a bit heavy so glad it was a flat run.

Running warm up/down 28:30 [3]

10 mins w/u, 6mins recoveries, 12.5mins c/d.

Running (off-road) 47:30 [3]

After work run on Black Mt - yay for day-light savings, bring on Summer! Over little Blackie, through my Bermuda Triangle which is the flats and lower slopes of the Reserve, then up the SW spur to the little track around big Blackie.

Running (Namadgi NP) 2:31:00 [3]

Up Gingera from Corin Dam with Matt. I ran the first part of this run in January 2008 when Matt and I went for an explore, and the second part of the run when Matt and I did Gingera from Mt Franklin road / Ginini carpark this January. It was great to do the whole thing right from the bottom and at least I knew what was in store, particularly all the climb within the first two kms. Weather wasn't too bad, patchy cloud but still allowing for views. Got back down to the carpark and tagged the next lot of orienteers heading up the climb!
(29min steep climb, 62min at Mt Franklin Rd junction, 87min at the summit, 106min back at the junction with Stockmans Spur track.)
