ACT League event 2, Tharwa Tor (sl dist. 6.3km).
I enjoyed it although tired/slowed quite a bit during the last third and had some trouble crossing fences (also in the last third). Navigation-wise it went pretty well although I got pushed around by the prickles at c5 (ended up too low) and slow going into c6 (stuck in some prickles). Despite the prickly bits, I thought it was a good map and fun course!

Warm-up from where Matt dropped me outside the Treasury building to Acton Ferry Terminal.

60mins tempo (bit slower than half-mara pace) out round the western section of the lake, over the dam and back through Yarralumla, finishing just before Commonwealth Bridge. I ran 10km in 43.16 so I think my pace was pretty steady the whole way, though my heart rate was on 192bpm for the last 10 to 15 mins which I guess means I couldn't go much harder?! This is why I rarely run with a HRM ;)

Jog back to Telopea Park. Then I walked home (~12mins), to loosen up and because I thought 90mins running was probably enough!
