Running tempo 24:00 [4]
shoes: Trail Attacks 12'10

Did a course from next Tuesday's event.

Running 30:00 [3]

8min jog down the hill to the start at Coombe Dingle. Afterwards, a loop around the golf course (in the woods).
I got my first ever dog bite on this run! A young german shepherd ran towards me (attached to lead; lead not attached to owner!). It made two playful/challenging pounces at me and on the third dug it's teeth into my right calf. I yelled in pain and it ran scared back to its thug of an owner. I got some good teeth scratches and have a nice bruise now (Sunday).

Running intervals 29:00 [5]
shoes: Trail Attacks 12'10

10mins w/u around Henbury GC, then 3 x 4mins (1min rec) through Blaise and along KW Hill. 5mins jog then 20mins of 90s/30s through Stoke Bishop (streets). 5mins jog then 2 x 1min hills in Henbury GC. I had planned to do 4 but I hadn’t accounted for golfers on the course. I squeezed 2 in then felt I was getting in the way so jogged home.

Running 36:30 [3]
shoes: Trail Attacks 12'10

All the bits that weren't hard.

Running 37:00 [3]
shoes: Trail Attacks 12'10

A potter round Blaise. I bumped into Matt who told me the good news - the three cows that we thought had become burger meat are back! They must have been taken to a lush field for a winter vacation (junior is not so small anymore!).
