Running (streets) 1:02:30 [3]
shoes: Runners

Today the weather was absolutely filthy. I still saw a lot of the countryside but from the comfort of my car (as comfy as a Citroen Saxo can be). I passed on a daytime run and had a nap instead. But when I got home I had a run around the western wastelands with Matt. It wasn't the 90mins as planned at the start of the week but boohoo.

Running (paths) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Trail Attacks 12'10

Weekend away in Dorset with Matt (by the coast). In the afternoon we ran along the coast to see Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, etc. We were very lucky with the weather - mostly sunny and we got some great photos (including some at Corfe Castle in the morning).
We stayed in Weymouth for the night and had the best restaurant experience in ages! (Italian).

Running intervals (streets) 40:00 [4] 8.31 km (4:49 / km)
ahr:169 max:191 shoes: Runners

6 x 5mins (2mins rec). Quad nearly better, back a tad better too. Decided not to do B&W intervals though until I'm fully back to normal.
(AHR is for whole 60min session).

Running (streets) 1:03:30 [3] 12.58 km (5:03 / km)
ahr:162 max:180 weight:56.5kg shoes: Runners

Progression run:
15' @ 5:30min/k pace
15' @ 5:00
15' @ 4:30
~18' @ 5:20 (was meant to be 5:30)
Didn't really work too well as the first 15mins was mostly up so was hardish to maintain pace, then the second 15mins was all downhill so very easy to do 5:00min/k. Was a good experiment anyway.
Quad getting better (back = no change).

Running (streets) 32:00 [2] 5.74 km (5:34 / km)
ahr:157 max:174 (injured) shoes: Runners

Around Henbury. My back was pretty sore this morning but felt a bit better this evo walking to the car. I think it is on the mend which is good. But my left quad that I also strained on Saturday night in the fall was at its most painful today - I limped around all day and then had to limp around Henbury. Running every day for a month is proving much harder than it should be!!
