In the Cotswolds - Haresfield Beacon, Cotswold Way to Scottsquar Hill, back down through Standish Wood. Saw heaps of animals including two batches of piglets (cute!), a deer (wild) and some llamas.

Warm up while Matt hung some toilet paper out around the Uni.

Sprint training on the UWE: Frenchay map which had the JK men's course from 2007 (thanks Tim for the lend of the map!). I tried to race it. There was some construction work going on which affected my routes to c2, c14 and c15. I messed up c3 in the circle. Was really good to do some sprint practise.

Cool down jog around the uni while Matt sprinted around the course, then a jog with him for his cool down around the first few controls.

14min w/u on the path around the top of the golf course (anticlockwise for a change!!). 9mins recoveries then an easy 7min jog on the golf course then home.

B&W AC intervals at Coombe Dingle - around the cricket pitches.
3 x (1km, 500m).
After last Tuesday wrecked me for a week, my aim was to do a decent session but hang back a bit and not go crazy hard.
3.48mins (20secs slower than last week!), 1.52.
3.46, 1.46.
3.43, 1.46.
Was good.
