Running 50:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Trail Attack

Christmas run! I did Wednesday's run in reverse, but this time I went over the back/top of Knocklofty instead of across the face. Good hard hill climb to get there! It was a beautiful late morning and I got a great view of the Mountain from the back of Knocklofty. Loved it loved it loved it.
Oh yeah I did this run solo as Matt was resting a sore ankle (he walked Daisy instead).

Orienteering 50:00 [3] ***
shoes: Asics Trail Attack

Headed out to Risdon Brook Dam with the family and Matt to do a terrain run. We had maps with the permanent controls marked on and all did our own thing. I was a bit slow coz I was scared of snakes (why I don't know? I've never seen one there before) and the grass had grown up really high in places with all the rain and then sun I guess. Was nice :)

Running 42:30 [3]
shoes: Asics Trail Attack

Back in Hobart after a couple of years!
Matt and I went for a run soon after we got in, as I'm keen to run as much as I can while I've got the time and the conditions are great.
We ran from my parent's house up to the Mt Stuart lookout, then across the face of Knocklofty and down the other side, back past my old primary school Lansdowne Crescent. I actually enjoyed the hard hill climb - it's been ages since I've run up any hills! The weather was perfect and I loved it.

Note

We left Thailand today, after a fantastic 8 days or so!! Other than the few occasions we were running or walking, the time was spent sleeping, sun-bathing, eating, swimming, erm.... yep that's it! We ate some great food, and all of the locals were so friendly. The beaches were beautiful and the sun was always out! :) I think I will go there next December :P
