Running 47:00 [3] 8.6 km (5:28 / km)

Back in the National Park, I ran Waterfall Trail and Sawpit Creek Trail with Matt. I really enjoyed this run as it was a nice track through peaceful bush and nice and sunny :)

Orienteering 1:22:00 [3]

Orienteering training - "Badja"
Hung some controls for Matt.... as I was doing this I ran into a big black wild pig(?) in charge of 15 piglets.... it was looking very angry and very protective, scared the living daylights out of me and I got the hell out of there quick smart. Then I ran a short loop Matt had set. That all went pretty well.

I then ran a longer course. After stopping to say hi to the third (!) wombat I came across, I kind of lost concentration and for the remainder of the course I wasn't really with it. But I enjoyed the run all the same.

Running 1:43:00 [3]
(sick)

Mt Kosciuszko National Park.
Chairlift to 'Eagles Nest' then a nice skip along to the top of Kozzie (2228m). Matt and I then headed off along the track that does the big loop past Charlottes Pass. I turned around when we were level with Lake Albina as I wanted to make it back in time for the last chairlift (which I did with 5mins to spare).

Ok so it probably wasn't the wisest thing to do with a cold but I hate wasting weekends and my legs didn't feel too bad....
And it was a stunning day, warmish with clear skies and great views.

Running 31:00 [2]
(sick)

Needed to stretch my legs so went for a jog beside Lake BG with Matt. This was very dedicated of me as I missed work drinks to do this (tho I managed to squeeze 1 beer in before I left).

Running 45:00 [3]

Mt Painter, Aranda, then along bike paths to Belconnen Way and back through Macquarie streets.
It was light for about the first 5 minutes....
Didn't feel too bad and kept up a steady pace. I think the long tights and thermals were a bit of an over-kill, but I didn't want to get sick...
