In the morning on freshly groomed and super fast and somewhat icy track of perimeter loop. While muscles aren't fresh, fastest skiing this season.

Last session at Lapland Lake - perimeter loop + Joki Latu, some warm sports on the tracks, mostly conservative effort, but plenty of strength to finish. I have to say, I enjoyed this skiing season at Lapland Lake. 80 year young Olavi has done remarkable job grooming this year.

Back to Lapland Lake for last skiing weekend of this winter season, Speedy is absent this time, skiing with Valeriy and Z-man. By the time we arrived the temps are well above freezing, so gliding was variable on sunny spots and in shadows. Tons of strength on this first run,Felt strong while climbing, even with the slow snow. This made it quite a workout. Not pushing too hard, saving some for the planed later skiing.

4 loops in Forest Park: 8:20 (147), 8:21 (147) , 8:07 (154), 8:20 (156). Last two loops did 16 x 30 sec / 30 sec, nice speed effort. Cold, windy morning, no rain or snow yet. Legs felt rested.
