felt a little stiff in the morning so I did a little longer warm-up around the lake

Day 2 - felt better after warm-up, cleaner run today, lost ~ 1 min on 3 - bad compass work, ~30 sec on 7, ~1 min on 8, and ~1.5 min. exiting #9 in the wrong direction- clean the rest of the race, at times I thought I was getting tired. R. knee is week and tender after sitting in the car on the way home.

legs felt great today, but it was overcast and at times too dark for me to see the map, I did not see the best root to #1, and was a little sloppy around control, had a good rout to #4 but hesitation in the circle costed me ~ 2 min, lost 1 min to 9, tough time seeing trails on the map.
