Orienteering race 23:24 [3] 2.44 km (9:35 / km) +31m 9:01 / km
ahr:158 max:175

S6D day 6 Grandtully (1st!!!!!)
I was chuffed to get a win and a late start on a middle distance suited me perfect.
No mistakes and most of the course downhill. I could have gone harder but on day 6 legs are sore. Knee fine and I forgot to tape, so maybe I have cured the problem by running for a week??
Had a paddle in River Tay with the guys after, very strong current but nice.
Also good shoe washing ;)
Finished 5th in total and hopefully back to long courses in September.
A great week, great areas and good weather. Did not wear my rain coat ones.

Orienteering race 49:47 [3] 3.97 km (12:32 / km) +123m 10:51 / km
ahr:155 max:178

S6D day 5 Craig a Barns (6th)
Brilliant Craig a Barns! Due to short course, I didn't get into the tougher parts but had quite nice runable woods and some open at the end.
Knee fine and taped up.

Orienteering race 59:57 [3] 5.07 km (11:49 / km) +103m 10:44 / km
ahr:158 max:187

S6D day 4 Culteuchar & Dron (13th)
My least fav day. Started first 10am and had to bash down everything.
Crazy climb to start and I didn't leave enough time to get there but had to stress.
Runners course and I didn't stand a chance :(
Knee fine and taped up.

Orienteering race 30:43 [3] 2.29 km (13:25 / km)
ahr:153 max:179

S6D day 3 Dundurn & Cnoc a Mahadaidh (7th)
Wicked area and the best assembly setting you could ask for.'Messed up one control as I didn't read the control descriptions. I thought I was looking for a cliff when it was a shallow pit. Stupid!
Knee fine and taped up.
Had a great swim in Loch Earn after with Seb and Arthur. A real treat!

Orienteering race 48:48 [3] 4.2 km (11:37 / km) +94m 10:27 / km
ahr:158 max:188

S6D day 2 Edinchip (5th)
Another great area but I slipped up in the forest after having completed the first half on open terrain (too easy).
They voided a leg as runners ran trough a OOB and I was demoted from 4th to 5th :(
Knee again fine and taped up.
Had a swim in Loch Earn with the boys after the race. Very nice to cool down!

Orienteering race 43:21 [3] 3.71 km (11:41 / km) +64m 10:45 / km
ahr:162 max:187

S6D Day 1 Auchingarrich (missed a control out =Disq)

What a shame, but that what happens when you don't concentrate on the task. Finished with the fastest time so the rest of the run was well executed.
Loved the forest and the map and a great first day.
No knee pain but taped with stretchy tape over the knee cap,
