Seneca GC, 2 sessions first about 10 am as sun was starting to warm frozen icy ungroomed trail, had to do combination of skating outside of path and jumping into path that was thawing. It was incredible, just stupid fast especially off track, could v2 alot of it.
second session was with rjm about 1:30 and track was melting fast, very soggy and slow, skated one lap, classic 2nd lap, i was really sore/tired.

I think with pending warm weather and rain later in the week, that's all folks for skiing.

at seneca, temp 40, sunny, today the frozen track was soft, mushy in some spots, but all in all very strong workout, slowish and gruntish, did 3x both large and small loops, last was trying to work on technique because i was exhausted.

seneca gc, back to the agony of trying to skate in cleveburg. the park hasn't groomed since monday, and its a frozen rutted ice path, if they would groom it'd be spectacular, oh well. skating next to path in ungroomed snow in some spots is great, others snow is deep/fluff/unpredictable and its awful, crashed and burned maybe 5x, did 4 big loops. did put new baskets on poles which makes huge difference.

Seneca GC, after rain falling temps, snow was glazed and icy but soggy, because it's not highly packed, and poles didn't grab at all, so it wasn't good tonight.

at big met GC, temp 41 and light rain, only one out, snow very soft and soggy with a howling wind, still an excellent workout. was very cautious in some areas because basketless poles would plunge through, didn' t want any snappage, did alot of skating w/o pole use. think i fell 6 times, skis in certain spots would just stop as it was loaded, also couldn't ski in one of my tracks, i think combination of wet soggy snow and no ski waxing for probably at least 3 yrs.

Seneca GC, most amazing thing ever, the park system started grooming the course for skating, they had groomed in the morning, so it was my personal track that was absolutely perfect. ordered replacement baskets for poles.
