cycling (road) 1:48:00 [3]

from hinckley, S into the country, loopage, and back. wasnt dialed in today, ate on way to ride, but felt hungry whole time, after 25 min. realized i forgot water bottle, temp was in low 80's, was sluggish and probably dehydrated a bit at the end. so just kind of rolled along, enjoying the day. on medina line rd is trashed the fast line is at edge/gutter of rd/gravel/grass, had nice tailwind so i was 26mph or so, there was a very, very large lady on a tractor cutting grass on the other side of the ditch, she smiled, gave me a sort of fist pump thumbs up, i had to laugh, tour fever ma'am, watch the tour. just crawled up euroclimb at end and the long 606/kellogg grade into big headwind.
30.1 miles, avgMPH 16.7 ish, maxMPH 45.4 (going down the short/steep hametown rd wall)

orienteering (practice) 1:15:00 [3]

hinckley in western section, scribbled out a course while eating banana bread for lunch at noon, ran it later w/o compass, worked on running fast (felt pretty good for once), aiming off, angles from features, and contouring w/o going up or down, 21 points, only one bout with left-itis which i started left, kept left, then caught it/corrected it when i hit a couple features. overall nice solid workout, pleased w/ it all.
8 PM
