shoes: HOKA mufasa 13.0

light snow, 25F, from jaite: trail over to towpath, N on towpath, then up the N entrance of carriage loop trail, 1 interval up the hill in 2:46, then continue on trail to time turnaround, and back, a +/- 5 min interval on flat towpath.
had only a bare minimum of motivation so thats all for today, the hill interval was dreadful, the flat was actually pretty good.

other notable: at midnight our stupid small dog was within 4 ft of being attacked by a coyote in our backyard, awesome stuff !

hinckley from kellogg rd. E on bridle path, then hill intervals up the long grade at south end, its tough because hill gradually gets steeper, did boost the variety w/ 2 route choices,by going left near top along ledges, or go right up open hill to picnic table at top.
did 6 total, 3 of each.
the ledge route was +/- 3:20 each, the picnic table ones were +/- 3:05 ea.

was a bit fatigued from rowing, hardest part was the first step, then really pushed hard, very good workout.

4409m, pace of 2:16/500m, last 5 min was sub-2min pace, too much time monkeying around w/ ipod, the had to take off a warmup jacket

really nasty leg workout, some other stuff thrown in between sets, oddly no knee pain at all w/ weights or rowing, although didn't do squats or boxhops, yet every time i run left knee hurts, ugh.
