slept:7.0 shoes: HOKA mufasa 12.5

finally a nice shot of weather, temp low 40's ! hinckley, from top-o-ledges, down euroclimb and around on bridle path, N on state, and up thru ledges.
felt really good so ran hard, above conversation pace, pretty gassed at end.
ache and pain update: surprisingly no pain in left kneecap, rt ft on top as it curves onto shin was awful at start especially twisting/turning at start on uneven terrain. no pain at end of run though.
the bridle path would have been wonderful for skating on more than 90%
2 PM

cycling (road) 3:12:00 [3]

w/ jay from richfield, slow pace, S down to wadsworth then back on medina line. at 2 hrs and by the turn to do the euroclimb did extra while jay went back, up climb, down sledding hill, up long grade on bellus to stony hill, back E on 606, then S on kellog, E on ledge, then N up state, and E on bellus/hawkins. was hungry at start of extra, started to bonk going N on state. was at 14.6 avgMPH, managed to bump it up to 15.0.

notable: a small dog started to chase us, but it had a stuffed animal in its mouth almost as big as it, it was a stuffed pig doll with a santa hat on it, very hilarious!

running (trail) 2:10:00 [3]
slept:4.5 shoes: HOKA mufasa 12.5

28F with pellet snow and nasty wind out of NW. Brecksville parked at station rd (my van was only vehicle) to go N and W into wind at start. wind was really nasty along gorge, horrible on the golf course, and at end on the hill/ridge just S of "my mountain" and on my mountain as well. ran bridle/foot paths, attempted to run W on bridle path out of park, but like alot of areas it was flooded w/ ice slush on top, sides were either mud or frozen freeze/thaw bombs, so the running kinda sucked again but i wasn't going fast, numerous 1 min or so walks, and 5 pee breaks whats up w/ that ugh don't know why. really got cold, especially hands, the last half hour-ish, could barely turn key to get into van.
rt calf wasn't happy the entire run, no pain, but an odd tightness, each time i walked a bit i'd stretch it, maybe its the new hoka's. getting sort of sick and tired of being sick and tired of winter. the sleep rut never ends double ugh.
other notable: bought new 30 lap timex clock !
will try to load it up next week, hole in schedule, yet another ugh, minimal $, final ugh.

the threat/attack of Type A influenza has run its course, able to avoid it thanks to tamiflu, hand sanitizer, clorox disinfectant, soap, yelling at the munchkin to cough in your sleeve and wipe nose w/ kleenex not the other way, and carefully avoiding him.

tried the new pair of HOKA mufasa lion king-balter beater-4g-lte-roc-claw-8-bug-1200s-bone crusher-revolution-signature series-turbo lites. in mill stream which was dreadful, entire park is a frozen mess of freeze/thaw ankle buster; the mtn bike trails, foot trails even the woods were very difficult to run in, parked at edgerton so had mile-ish run in on bridle path.
