other (swim) 58:00 [3]

german xterra championship triathlon: horrendous swim approx 1800m, water temp 60F, almost quit 4x due to freezing and general thoughts of dying, old partial (mid thigh/arms) wetsuit was awful, hands/feet numb at end, was back of the bus in placement

germany xterra triathlon championship: after shivering in transition for nearly 7min(couldn't put on socks, shoes or tie them last place split time) incredible hill nearly 400m climb in first 1km, pushed/ran bike up final 25% in an attempt to warm up, 2 laps 38km total, included carrying bikes up steps of ski jump hill/stadium in neustadt. crashed once.

running (trail race) 43:00 [3]

german xterra triathlon championship: 12km run felt good....finally, especially on the small uphills, hadn't eaten anything till 3.5 hrs in, took a powergel, drank 1 bottle water for entire race. felt bloated till 3.25 hrs which was near end of bike. finished 171/211, 11th in age group run was 104th overall, so ended on a reasonably good note. total time was 4:45.19
